Your Asbestos, Fire & Property Compliance Partner
Your Asbestos, Fire & Property Compliance Partner
Providing compliant asbestos, fire and other risk solutions, cost effectively and on time.
We look at how we can be your compliance partner, helping you manage your estate risks, whilst also being mindful of your budgets and project deadlines.
Let us help you manage and mitigate asbestos, fire and other risks, rather than cope and react to them.
Each has its own estate and has its own attitude to risk and estate management, coupled with estate refurbishment, expansion and realignment plans.
They want and need to be compliant with current asbestos and fire regulations.
TCL have the skills and experience to complete a full gap analysis no matter the size of your estate.
This will consider building age, existing asbestos and fire information and upcoming projects to make full recommendations on what actions to take going forward for each property.
Our focus is for this to produce the most cost effective, bespoke asbestos, fire and other risk management solution for your specific estate.
We have extensive experience handling telecoms, retail, distribution and leisure estates and have saved our clients time and money through our methodical processes coupled with estate refurbishment, expansion and realignment plans.
TCL can provide a prompt, nationwide service for all survey types to fulfil your compliance goals.
This includes:
Management surveys provide information for an asbestos register to help duty holders manage asbestos during the normal use of the property.
Refurbishment & Demolition surveys are an intrusive survey type that provides information to enable refurbishment or demolition works, including installation of equipment in buildings.
Reinspection surveys review and update the management action and photo of every asbestos item at least every 12 months per the HSE Approved Code of Practice.
The UK has seen a surge in fire related legislation after Grenfell. Like asbestos, employers are increasingly aware of their duties to protect employees and contractors from fire risks.
TCL understands the synergy between asbestos and fire risk management and is proud to offer a joined up service with its partner Ocelot Fire Consultancy.
Our partnership leverages the expertise of Ocelot providing fire risk consultancy, including fire risk assessments, legislation advice, fire strategies and assisting with sourcing of fire engineering solutions where needed, along side TCL’s skills of managing large scale projects at pace.
We aim to provide our clients with a “one stop” service to mitigate both asbestos and fire risks in their projects and estates.
TCL embraces any opportunity to improve its service offering, including the use of advanced technology.
We have linked up with Digital Asset Solutions to provide cost effective desktop asbestos and fire risk reviews (prior to field surveys and assessments) layered on a Digital Twin 3D / Matterport image of the clients site. These quick and low cost reviews give clients an opportunity to understand the scale of asbestos and fire risk abatement works involved prior to any major spend or commitment to a proposed new site.
These Digital Twins also provide the client with a view of the current condition of the property, including hard to access areas such as rooftops, whilst also generating accurate drawings and marked up plans where part of the works instruction.
Solutions Not Problems
TCL management have many years of experience within the Telecoms sector.
Our expertise lets us provide a responsive service, and we have the knowledge to quickly organise and implement a project plan, be it small scale or a complex national programme. Our surveyors have the RF and Rooftop worker training needed for this sector.
We understand that projects and any subsequent asbestos or fire remediation works need to be performed at a pace to minimise the delay to our telecoms clients projects, or to remove any “out of bounds” restrictions.
We are focused on building long term relationships with our telecoms clients and helping them benefit from our partnerships.
We understand that with changes in buildings ownership and usage managing risks such as Asbestos and Fire can easily become a sea of red tape.
We remove the headache of shifting legislation by helping our clients understand their obligations and responsibilities.
It can sometimes be confusing when faced with contradictory information or advice. Our role is to reduce this “noise” and present a clear set of solutions that our clients can understand and approve.
We offer an “end to end” service where we help with the solution rather than just present a report of problems.
Our experience covers dealing with one off site projects that involve complex situations, through to running extensive national programmes of work.
We have the skills to work with our clients at the initial stages, such as data cleansing and gap analysis work, though to coordinating and conducting a large scale programme of inspections.
We distinguish ourselves from other providers as we will work with our clients to find solutions to any risks identified in the inspections reports. We understand that our clients want to achieve “business as usual” as quickly as possible for a competitive price.
We will always act in the best interests of our clients assisting with sourcing, pricing and instuction of remedial works that need doing.
